Rare & Expressive, this Mahenge garnet displays an intense Orangey-Pink with a distinctive Malaya character. It exhibits a refined Peachy-Pink in ambient light, shifting to a vivid electric pink with reddish undertones as direct light penetrates its crystalline structure, introducing explosive fire. 

It was cut by a world-class lapidary in Bangkok and is certified by Bellerophon (B56470/2.888) 📜

Discovered in 2015, Mahenge garnets quickly became legendary for their exceptional dispersion and vibrant spectrum of pink, peach and magenta hues. Early pockets were limited and rapidly exhausted, making fine stones incredibly scarce today. Over the past year I have been collecting rough from the rare sources that still hold parcels from the early find.
