2.08 ct Sunset Rosé Mahenge Garnet 🇹🇿

Discovered in 2007, Mahenge garnets immediately became legendary for their high dispersion and pink, peach & magenta hues. The early pockets were small and quickly depleted, making fine stones incredibly scarce today.

Over the past year I have been collecting rough from the rare sources that still hold parcels from the early find. Now is the time to release some of the finest pieces.

This exceptional Mahenge garnet shifts from a refined Coral hue in ambient light to an Electric Pink when direct light reveals its crystalline structure. Things get even more dramatic in sunlight, where its UV-reactive composition ignites vivid reddish undertones and unleashes an incredible fire. Amazing stone.
