1.26 ct Peachy-Pink Mahenge Garnet 🇹🇿

Delicate yet Fiery, this Mahenge garnet exhibits a refined Peachy-Pink hue, in a distinctly Malaya-inspired register. An elegant Coral-Pink in ambient light, that shifts under direct light into a brighter, more electric pink with subtle reddish undertones and triggers effervescent fire. 

It was Precision cut by a world-class cutter into a sharp concentric Hexagon. Also known as the Flower of Life geometry, this sacred pattern creates a mesmerizing hall of mirrors effect that draws the eye deep into the stone.

Discovered in 2015, Mahenge garnets quickly became legendary for their exceptional dispersion and vibrant spectrum of pink, peach and magenta hues. Early pockets were limited and rapidly exhausted, making fine stones increasingly scarce today.

Over the past year, I have been collecting rough from the rare sources that still hold parcels from the early find.
